- Pawpaw is hardy to only Zone 5B or warmer, NOT for anywhere north of (or colder than) Montreal, QC
- Young trees need to be in shade and avoid competition with weeds, and require low maintenance after establishment
- Origin of seeds: Ontario, Canada. Germination Requirements- Step 1: Add a minimum water to the bag of seeds. Step 2: Stratification: cold stratify for 90 days. Step 3: Sow the seeds

After its establishment, it provides for native wildlife. Tasty fruits are also good treats for humans. Pawpaw trees need to grow in pairs for cross-pollination. Note: keep seeds moist all the time. It will die if it is dry.
