1. Do you carry GMO seeds?

Hundredfold does not knowingly carry GMO seeds.

2. Do you ship seeds and seedlings internationally?

No. We only ship seeds within Canada and the USA. Native seedlings are only shipped within Canada.

3. Is starting native perennial seeds, like wild leek or milkweed, as easy as starting tomato seeds?

No, it's very different.

  • Natural Dormancy: Unlike quick-sprouting annual vegetables, native perennials have built-in dormancy. This protects them from germinating during frost or drought. Most require extended cold/moist treatment (stratification) for 2-4 months. 🌰
  • Slower, Irregular Germination: Germination is slow and often uneven, typically taking 6-24 months. Sprouts may appear sporadically over 1-2 growing seasons.⏰
  •  Natural Adaptation: Native seeds are produced under natural conditions, where genetic diversity and survival traits are key. This means germination rates typically range from 30% to 50%, even with perfect care. Some natural failures are normal. 👌

5. Do you accept Canada e-transfer, and how?

Yes. Our e-transfer is an auto-deposit. Before e-transferring your payment, please ensure we have your functioning email so we can transfer the money back to you in case things do not go as planned. Please email us at info@hundredfold.store for an e-transfer.
